Purchasing signs
Hi all,
I'm a new Realtor, and I was wondering if you could provide me with some advice. How should a realtor go about purchasing frames and signs? Do you go through a broker?
Thanks for any help in advance.

I am having the same problem. All of the customs signs online seem a bit pricy. Any advice?

Do you need a custom sign or something like a Remax or C21? If it is a standard sign, you should be able to get them for pretty cheap. I used Dee Sign Company and found their prices pretty competitive. I would recommend you pick up the frames locally as the shipping can get expensive for those.

My only option is through my broker...bad part is that they cost about $40 a piece. I had to order 6 to start, plus there are the open house signs. All that was almost $500. Ouch. I hope they don't get vandalized. Never know!

It depends on if your company requires that you use a specific sign or if you are allowed to design your own. If you can design your own, then any local sign shop can produce them for you.
First ask your broker what company policy is, and then if you can it's worth calling around to the local sign shops to see what they offer. There's quite a few different options in terms of materials and sizes.Milan Cole, JMA Properties LLC

Do it yourself...
I made the design for myself, and found a cheap local store to makes me several signs, I have found out that with a little labor your self and you putting the signs up yourself in yards and things like this can save quite a bit pocket money.

Check out local companies and use a standard stock frame. Or find a agent that is quitting real estate, since they will not need the sign anymore they will part with them very cheap or free.
