Tips on getting an assisstant job
Hi,
I would like to learn the ropes by being an assistant to an agent for awhile and then sell on my own. Problem is, I have been calling agents who have listings in the area to see if they need help and all I am getting is dead ends. I recently got my license and am eager to learn. Any tips for this young buck?? I want to do this part-time because I have a 9-5pm M-F job.
Thanks,
sweetboy

You have just learned your first lesson about being a real estate agent. If you can't take rejection then real estate sales won't work for you.
If you want to be successful in real estate then pick up the phone and keep on calling till someone says yes. Even better would be a face to face.Your Outer Banks real estate agent. Learn how to buy Outer Banks foreclosures.

I wouldn't hire you because you have a 9-5 job. Assistants need to be available during those times unless they are just stuffing envelopes at home.
