Mentor Needed
hI I AM NEW HERE. I COMPLETED MY REAL ESTATE COURSES BACK IN APRIL, BUT HAVE JUST KNOW DECIDED TO TAKE THE TEST. I'M A BITE BORED WITH MY CURRENT POSITION,BEEN DOING IT FOR THE LAST 6YRS.
I'M AT A TIME IN MY LIFE WHERE I AM ALMOST AT MY GOAL AGE TO HAVE MY KIDS HOUSE, CAREER AND HUSBAND, BUT TO ME HAVEN GOTTEN THE 2 MOST IMPORTANT OF THE 4. CAREER AND HOUSE. I'VE STARTED SO MANY TRAINING TO DO SOMETHING AND HAVE NEVER COMPLETED, BECAUSE I WAS SCARED I WILL FAIL. I WANTED TO BE A NURSE, STARTED SCHOOL AND QUIT BECAUSE I LOST INTEREST. SAME WITH COSMOTOLOGY,MEDICAL ASSISTANT, AND KNOW REAL STATE. I FINISHED SCHOOL MONTHS AGO AND I'M JUST ABOUT TO TAKE MY TEST. I'M NOT SO CONFIDENT IN MY SALE SKILLS. I AM NOT AN AGGRESSIVE OR
PERSUASIVE PERSON AND THOSE ARE THE TWO IMPORTANT CHARACTERIST THAT I THINK I WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFULL IN THIS BUSINESS. I KNOW I HAVE THAT TRAIT IN ME SOMEWHERE I JUST NEED MOTIVATIONS. THERE'S A LOT THAT I KNOW I CAN DO IN MY LIFE, BUT I JUST HAVE A FEAR TO FALL SO I QUIT. I LOVE THIS FIELD BECAUSE YOU CAN BE UP AND ABOUGHT, YOU GET TO MEET NEW PEOPLE ALL THE TIME AND SOCIALIZE, I LOVE THE BUSINESS PART OF IT. INVESTING, FLIPPING, SELLING, TRADING,DESIGNING,ETC. AND I THINK IT'S A MONEY MAKING BUSINESS. I KNOW I WILL EVENTUALLY CATCH ON AND EXCEED MY EXPECTATIONS, BUT IT'S JUST BEING AND STAYING MOTIVATED ENOUGH TO MAKE IT. I WOULD REALLY LIKE SOMEONE OUT THERE WITH THE CONFIDENTS AND MOTIVATION TO BE MY MENTOR. I JUST NEED SOMEONE THAT IS KNOWLEDGEABLE ENOUGH TO TEACH ME THE INS AND OUT OF REAL ESTATE SO THAT I MAY BECOME SUCESSFULL.
THANKS FOR YOUR TIME

Attitude is everything
Attitude is everything.
Norman Vincent Peale said and wrote many years ago,
"you can if you think you can."
Aside from that, the following is crucial.
The customer is the number one priority.
Make your customers happy, treat them as you would like to
be treated.
And of course, learn and know what you are talking about.
Best wishes.

Thanks for the reply Iggy, but question? do people not visit this site anymore? I mean this is a great site! It's just luck that i just finish my certification and wanted to know more about the field. I found this site and there is a lot of interesting questions being asked and answered. everytime i come on i check who's on line, sometime it's only 5 of us. I guess everyone maybe too busy to visit.

I respond to people on this site - but not usually to persons that TYPE IN ALL CAPS - because they are most likely robots, and never see your reply in the first place.

WOW! Why so rude, my question wasn't meant to be offensive to anyone. i'm new here and i don't see alot of activities. Just saying that i wanted to see more people on the forum, that's all. I've learned alot from alot of the post. Sorry about the CAP, hope no one else feels the same way.

Not being rude. You asked a question. I provided an answer.
People that type in caps are usually either spammers, immature, or hotheads.
Responding to them is usually a waste of effort. This results in those types of posts getting no or very limited responses 9 times out of 10.
I saw your post, and thats why I didn't respond to it initially.Last edited by Malok; 09-19-2007 at 12:03 PM.
