Default Real Estate license while in class

can you apply for the real estate license while you are taking classes concurrently?
does it depend on the state where you are taking classes?

Why would you want to? Are you afraid you are going to be rejected for some reason? Otherwise take the classes, take the tests , then get your license.

In Missouri you cannot apply for your license until you have taken your tests and passed. You are required to send in the testing results with your picture to the licensing agency. You have to complete the pre-licensing course in order to qualify to take the test. You can however take the 24 hour practice course after you have passed the test but it is still a required course.

    Default Depends

I guess it depends on where your from. In Florida you would send out your information before you take the exam. That way once you have passed the state test you move onto your first sale. Where are you located?

I'm in Central Missouri. I didn't take the 24 hour practice course (a requirement for Missouri) until after I passed the test. Wasn't going to shell out another $150 until I had to.

In North Carolina, you have to take the class and pass a class exam before you're allowed to take the licensing test. Each state has its own rules.
