Default Doing Business In A Bubble Bursting Economy

Hey Guys, I was with a colleague of mine in the construction field, in SC. He's says it's dead everywhere, as far as, building and home sales. Other construction companies are going out of state to find work, while other out-of-state workers are looking to come to SC. It's crazy.

Is everyone terrified of an "impending doom" so they're all holding on to their money? Or is it because it's "election year" and everyone wants to wait and see (which I was told was a trend from years back)?

Anyway, what's the vibe in other parts of the world besides SC?

    Smile Interesting

We are in South Florida, I have a Landscaping business, and medical, it is a bit slow, but the contractors we are working with are not complaining. There is alot of Affordable Housing going on in S. Florida, they don't have anywhere to put the people when they sell out land that trailers are sitting on.

Of course if we get hit by another hurricane there will be more work too. In fact alot of roofs are still not repaired.

Check out my profile, you can visit the website we are working on too.

Real estate markets are regional and local. Texas is still fairly busy, although not at anywhere near the levels of last year. We are down about 25% in the Fort Hood Market over the same period last year. The tide will turn eventually. Just have to ride it out!
