Default How hard to become a realtor in a very prestigious community like beverly hills?

is it hard to get accepted by a broker in an upscale place like beverly hills or some rich area? the book i am reading says to specialize because specialist make more than someone who just has a basic grasp of everything. selling only in an upscale community seems like a great way to make good money due to the home value and the commissions they bring.

Your competiting with agents who have bee working that territory for some time. Your are best to team up with or have an agent mentor you in that area.

Hanging a shingle and telling people you want to sell their $5million home is probably not going to work driving up in a Chevy Aero. Don't take NO for an answer!

I would look at becoming part of a team. Work on getting your luxury home specialist designation. I would probably try to get some experience in an area near B.H. first.

You are definitely shooting for the top of the food chain.
