Agent or Assistant?
Hi. Everyone. I have wanted to become an agent for a while now and I have just a few questions regarding my possible career. 1) Do you think it is best to start out as an assistant with a license or just jump all the way in as an agent? 2)Do you think it is better to take the pre-license courses in a classroom or online? I have a daughter with special needs and at the moment, I am not able to committ a lot of hours in an office. I can work from home but because of her insurance I need to stay
with the job I currently have for a little while, so I was thinking more "part-time" to begin with if that is possible. Any advice you all could give would be greatly appreciated. Especially about a good online-course. I have found a few but would love to hear some endorsements. I'm just trying to break into this business.
Thanks!!

Taking the courses online is much more convenient.
I think you should start as an agent at a brokerage where you will get the support and environment you need. If you are working part time from home, you might benefit from a broker who agrees to provide you with some regular leads.
