My wife wants to get a real estate sales license. We currently live in Illinois but will be moving to Kansas when I retire in about a year. She has no intention of working in Illinois but would like to get the license before we move so she's ready to go when we get to KS. Can she get an IL license now, and then "transfer" it to KS later? Or would it be better go directly for the KS license? Can she do that while still an IL resident? Thanks.
