Real Estate Broker Question
Just passed my Brokers exam a couple weeks ago. Setting goals to open an office in a year. Does anyone know any really good books/information source on starting up a real estate company?

I started my own company a few years ago and didn't read nuthin' about it... just did it! I think doing something like that offers tremendous opportunity to do things your way, and to break tradition when you feel like it - always a good thing! If you are ambitious enough to go out on your own after a year, I'm sure you are creative enough to do it well.
Just start making lists of things to "think" about and research in the interim. If you have any specific questions, feel free to ask me. I"m always happy to share my experiences, even if they are embarrassing... which lots of them are!

Help with starting a new real estate brokerage.
There is considerable content on this subject at the realestate.about.com site. You can access the Brokerage Office Management category to get to it. Just click on the link in my signature to get there.

real estate companies
I took a look at about.com. Good content. More Importantly, make sure that you are offering something whcih gives you a competitive advantage over your competition.
