Question What company offers 100% commission, no office fees, and provides training.

I just received my licensee in Houston and I'm currently interviewing real estate companies.

So far I have interviewed with Keller Williams, Century 21, Remax, and Urban Living.

    All have very different plans.

I have a huge database of newlyweds (3000) which I gathered from my DJ company.

    I average 3 weddings a month.

I also have a mechanical Engineering degree and pick up things very easily. I've been designing flight hardware at NASA for 15 years. I need a change in life.

I know how to make videos and post them on youtube. I also own a DSLR Canon Rebel T2i camera.

With this background I am leaning towards a company that gives 100% commission, no office fees, and provides training.

    Does this exist?

Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated.

    John

Default Great start to you career with a great database

Sometimes 100% isn't all it's cracked up to be. You really need to look at the fine print. You will have to pay desk fees, administration costs and provide yourself with all ancillary stuff. As you are just starting out look for a lower split and get your feet dirty in the industry before taking the 100% plunge.

Interview some realtors at the offices you went to and ask them the nitty gritty stuff, I'm sure they will tell you the real way it is and not just the corporate crap.

    Good luck

I interviewed with champions today in Houston. Very impressed with the office layout. They have their own in-house title company, home inspector, and mortgage company. 175 yearly dues. They do have training but not so much for new agents.

I'm thinking this forum might be able to solve my questions. Broker did say he is available to answer questions by phone or email.

    Default 2 companies

    1. The first company went out of business when things got tough.
2 The second company is the one you own yourself, only it is weak on training.

What I mean is--There is no free lunch.
