Meeting other Agents - Best Questions to Ask
I am just beginning to make contacts and have set up several meetings with top agents in my community to start networking and seeking advice.
What questions do you suggest I ask them?
I am looking to connect with them for open house leads and also to gain some advice from their experience.
Any suggestions are welcomed. Thanks!

Real Estate Networking
Hi Heidi,I didn't understand what you are looking for exactly. If you are looking networking, than I suggest you start here talking to people and also you can look for them in Facebook communities. If you are asking what you should ask them, I suggest first you get to know each other on a personal base and then start asking professional question. Most people wouldn't mind.Hope I helped in focusing you.Best regards,Applymeedia

Re: Meeting other Agents - Best Questions to Ask
There is no need to be in a hurry. Just keep yourself cool. Its is always better to talk to the person who had a good experience in any profession. You need not to revile your plan at first. Try to understand the process their and then made it when you will find right time to do so..

I would suggest that you just let the conversation progress naturally. I would have an idea of some topics to fall back on, but if "networking" is really what you are after, you will be much better served by getting to know the person on the opposite end of the table on a personal level, rather than drilling them with 20 questions.

Thanks guys..
The suggestions discussed in this forum are very real in nature and very practical in approach as I am also planning to buy some property and have no knowledge in the field but after reading this forum discussion i am feeling quite confident to make a successful deal.

Just keep the conversation flow with normal talkings until you get their attentions and move for your subject.

You might want to ask them what makes them so successful.
Or maybe what their typical day looks like and how they plan it.
And see what they would do if they could start all over again--what types of things would they focus on and begin doing right away.Steve Howe - REALTOR - RE/MAX Advantage Plus

For anyone who are in the real estate business will tell you, realtors and real estate agents are chatty by nature, this is how we do business. The best way for you to approach to open up a conservation regarding anything under the sun and try sizing up which agents are confident enough in their capabilities that they have no problems partaking with some of their knowledge to newbies. Real estate is highly competitive business. You might encounter those who are a bit weary with giving out too much information.

At least once a month I am asked to lunch or coffee with a brand new agent. I am always more than willing to go, share and help. Although Real Estate is pretty competitive it does not need to be a shark tank. Here are some of the questions I answer very opening and honestly when asked.
1. during your first year of real estate - what did you find to be your best business builder?
2. What was your biggest waste of time or money?
3. How often do you contact people who are not ready to buy? how do you contact them?
4. If you could go back and change one thing what would you change?
5. Do you have a favorite book that might help me build my business?
6. Who would you have build a website or blog?
7. How often do you blog and what do you find to write about?
8. What do you think you could do better?
9. How do you use Social Media
10. What software is the best to start withThesa Chambers
