    Default New Realtor Web Sites

Being a technologist in real estate, Im wondering what new realtors are using for web sites. Are you publishing your own or using the one belonging to your company? Are you embracing web v2?

That's an excellent question. I don't believe many realtors are moving towards WEB 2.0 yet and it will take at least a couple of years before there is any significant movement. The major problem is that WEB 2.0 has not been adaquately defined. I lifted this from another forum

Boss: Make sure everything we do from now on is Web 2.0.

Me: Boss, what do you mean? Web 2.0 is kind of a loosely defined buzzword.

Boss: You're the tech guy. Figure it out and make it happen!
Here are a few questions REALTORS can ask before buying into it:
    How will WEB 2.0:

    1. increase interactivity of my web site
    2. give my web site the familiar look and feel of desktop applications
    3. give my customers a better experience at my web site

It is considered wise to stand on the shoulders of giants but foolish to put yourself in front of them.
