    Default You are so right

    Hi,
This is why SEO companies are there in the first place. Sure, You can do it to (and I doubt if as good as SEO companies) but it takes time, Loads of time.
Perhaps it is better to let the pro's do their work and keep focusing on what you do best?

That is a good observation Dejavu, and one that is often overlooked. Optimizing a website is an ongoing process, and the process is really never "complete." In order to maintain good search engine result placement, one must constantly be aware of changes in the search engine algorithms, and always working to maximize their site's visibility.

Link building can be a tedious business, that's why it's best to pay someone to do it which frees you to get on with other things. Plus, agencies know intricate things about how the net works, algorithms that can change on a daily basis etc. The bext way to generate traffic to your website is to optimise it's google ranking and make sure your title text contains keywords likely to be searched for by browsers, you also need to make sure your description text is compelling and draws in browsers. This text really is like sales copy. Hope this helps.

At one point I found that I was in a role reversal I had become a full time computer programer with a part time job selling real estate! I have since corrected that problem by hiring out a lot of the computer work.

Yeah SEO takes a lot of work and it takes a long time before it would yield a favorable result. If you are indeed serious about your SEO efforts then it is best have it outsourced.

The alternative to investing time is always to invest money. Real estate agents will either have a lot of time or a lot of money but rarely both. Either way be prepared to invest either time or money.
