Location and Money?
The first question I have is where should I move? I believe I have narrowed it down to either Colorado Springs or Tampa. My brother sells new homes in Tampa and makes a killing. As for Colorado Springs, I like the city and from what I've read, it is a growing city with great potential.
Another big question is, what do I need to get started? I am huge on budgeting and know that if I know how much money I need before I get started, I can be ready for when I move. I will need typical start up money such as living costs, advertising, classes, and testing. I will also need to get a car. How much do I need?

Thus far in North Carolina...
375.00 pre-licensure classes
549.00 post licensure classes
66.00 testing fee
30.00 Real estate commission testing fee
And I am still inactive (just passed the state exam last Wednesday) so you will then have to pay for membership into the local realtor's association - whatever that costs.
Plus most companies I have talked with thus far is charging anywhere from 250-350.00 a month in desk fees and other stuff.
Advertisments - depnds on what you want to do. Cheapest I have seen is 6.00 per week in the local newspaper here in my hometown that only comes out once a week. 6.00 for the first couple of words (25 I think) and like .25 for each additional word.
I am broke that is for sure!
