    Default Online State Licensing?

Hi everyone. They offer several ways for licensing in New York. Im 27 and I currently work for New York State as a Law enforcement Officer. Im looking to do real estate on the side. But its hard to make the classes everyday. NYS does offer an Online Licensing program that I was interested in taking, seeing is I can do it when Im not at work. Whats the feed back on anyone who know about the online classes. Are they just as good as in class? They will allow me to have access to the online courses for 6months, and I can also sit in the the in school classes if i would like to also.

Whats your take on online Licensing?

I am assuming that you are referring to the online classes, not an actual online licensing exam. Regarding online courses, I would highly recommend it to any individual who has self-discipline. You are able to go as fast/slow as you like and are free of any disturbances (I have been in way too many classes where people just love to talk, thereby taking control of the class and disrupting the flow of instruction). Does your police department have policies prohibiting employment outside of the department? Good luck in your future endeavors.

In Michigan you can take your continuing education classes online. I prefer to take them in a classroom. Online you need to pass each individual section before you go on to the next. In the classroom you don't need to pass anything. This business is too distracting to take online classes.
