The best advice is to find a good realtor who can deal with the process of house buying and who can guide you during all the process.

You should also be knowledgeable in the process of buying properties so that you would know if you are getting the best deal or not. You should do a lot of research on your own to make it sure if the realtor is helping and guiding you on the right way of buying properties.

One piece of advice I would give is to do as much research as you possibly can. This is probably the biggest investment you will ever make as it is your first home. Therefore you need to ensure you are making the right decision.

I would recommend getting in contact with some professionals to make sure you are getting a good opinion and get approved a mortgage before you start. This will give you more freedom to explore the different opportunities there are for you out there.

Make sure you buy a house which is reasonaly priced for the area you are buying for and do not buy something that needs a huge amount of work if you do not have the time to do it.,

Other than that it is your choice of what to go for and you should make every effort to find the perfect home.

The most important thing to be considered is hire a good real estate agent whose success ratio is better and who can help you in each and every process of buying a home..

    Default Buying a property

Many potential buyers sometimes forget to factor in the down payment, homeowners insurance and the possibility of depreciation, as well as the costs associated with closing the transaction, moving, purchasing major appliances, and home, landscape and pool maintenance, not to mention furnishings and design accessories once you move in.

The best advice i can give you is not to restrict your possible purchase to a set of properties just because of how they are owned.I know it seems that foreclosures might be the best deal. But do not decide that without looking at all homes that meet your needs or criteria. A lot of buyers find much better deals as a result of a divorce or job transfer or whatever.

One most important thing that I always recommend is Researching the Market thoroughly. Ensure that you get apartment that fits your budget and you are getting value for your money. You can contact your local real estate agents, check local newspaper for recent sales in areas and look as many apartments in that area before you select or decide to buy. Don
