Although it is true that a license is no guarantee that you will be able to get a good realtor, it does provide that certain degree of extra responsibility to the client. First-time homebuyers prefer licensed real estate agents because they feel that they have a legal standing once things did not go according to plan.

A realtor has information about properties that we don't. They have listings available that you might not be able to find on your own. The knowledge able realtor will walk you through the steps that you will need to do to purchase the property.
