Record keeping
hi im a new real estate agent, i was wonder how some of the more experience agent deal with their record keeping, is there some software i can buy, or most people use basic spread sheet to keep track of things? My main problem is with tracking and maintaining a good record of cost/expense/commission fees and receipts so that i can see where all my money is going to.
If anyone can help, i would be grateful.

Cheap and effective way to keep records
A good way to do this is date ALL your documents and have them in PDF. I note what type of document they are, such as Form 21, Form 34, etc and then note whether it has been signed. This will protect you against future liability.
All the best.
