Social Networking websites for Real Estate?
Hey I was wondering if there was any "social networking" website for real estate agents to like connect with each other and other people in the biz. Seems like a good idea....

Hey, Try RSNLInk, Its a Social Networking website for Real Estate Professionals (Realtors, Mortgage Brokers, Attorneys Appraisers... ect) , and I just found it really cool. Its still a little small but, it has potential.
Anyways if you want to scope it out, you can register free (it doesn't allow you to be a "premium member yet")Last edited by Chief Tutor; 01-25-2009 at 04:14 PM. Reason: No Emails

Heck you could almost consider this place. It has the potential to be a social networking opportunity. We get to read each others replies, and it is possible to get to know each other.
Also consider ActiveRain.Mark Brian Silver Star Real Estate
Upstate South Carolina Real Estate

I don't know, there is just something different about forums and social networking websites. I like RSNLink, because it allows you to have associates and create detailed profiles.
Thats just me. But as a user, I encourage people to register, the bigger the site gets and the more work the developers will put in to add new features, to accommodate more people.

Interaction Made Easy
That's a wrong notion, Real estate can do really well on social networking platform, but as you say, there should be enough people first. Tenant, property managers etc can interact so easily.

Active Rain is one, you can check Facebook for groups, meetup.com is good for finding people in your area, there's also sites like linkedin...just type in "real estate social networking" in google, you'll likely find a whole lot. Sadly a lot of agents just aren't into all of this yet. Twitter has a lot of agents too.

Separate networking sites may not be required.
I guess there is no need of a separate social networking site for real estate professionals. The existing sites like facebook can be used to build real estate professional's communities. Services like ning can also be used to build specific community networks.

What is it that you're really after?
If you are looking to network, than this should be your home.
If you're looking to network and drive traffic to your website or business
than facebook, twitter, myspace and this forum will do you well.

I'd like to add hi5 and tagged to the list of social networks where you can find or connect with other agents. Like a mate already mentioned it above, just google the keyword and I'm sure you will find a lot.
