    Default MSN Virtual Earth

The beta of MSN Virtual Earth is now available.

Like Google Earth, you can view both maps and satellite images. However, for my area the satellite photos appear to be at least 10 years old. I haven't played with it much to draw and comparisons vs. Google.

Speaking of Google Earth, have you checked out Google Moon? You can check out the lunar landing sites. Be sure to zoom all of the way in to see the incredible detail.

That was pretty cool. I found that the aerial map from Google is just as old as MSN's. And Google got several places wrong while MSN got it close enough. Interesting. Thanks for the MSN map link, Shawn.

Great, now there's additional option to choose from. Wikimapia, Google Earth, and MSN Virual Earth. Those glitches on Google Earth must be fix now, for there's another and more correct map.

There is no comparison between MSN Virtual Earth, which is web-based, and Google Earth, which is an application. MSN Virtual Earth's real target is Google Maps, which, in my opinion, it is still not better than.

Google moon is awesome!. Anyways, like what ^ said, it doesn't even come close. Google maps let's you even see through the street cameras available, for MSN or Bing maps, it is very limited. I don't think people are going to go with this feature from MSN since it looks a lot like a rip off of google map (yet again)

    I still prefer Goggle Earth
