To me, this really comes down to a cost vs. return concern.

With all forms of online advertising, it is very important to track, adjust, add, and remove campaigns.

For example, I have a list of over 100 different places where I can advertise. I track each result and if it is not performing, I adjust my advertising (change banner graphic, change text, etc). I will adjust an ad 3 times over 3 months (once a month) and if the advertising still remains unproductive, I will remove the campaign from that source (no matter if it's the all mighty google or some small unknown site). With the removal, there is now room in my marketing budget to try a different source of advertising so I go back to my list and try a source I previously discarded or a new one.

    Hope this helps!

Although MSN has a significantly smaller market share (1/6 of google), their traffic converts to sales almost twice as well as google's traffic, so it's worth looking into.

Don't be too down. MSN in general seems to not drive as much traffic. Any traffic that we get really is considered "gravy." I hope this helps!

MSN is tough. You can be number one and see very little traffic.

    I agree.

    Don't pay attention to it.
