MSN isn't making any sense to me right now. I have not moved from the number one spot in months for my term in the SERPS and now I got bumped to like 4th and am being beat by sites with almost zero on page seo and next to nothing as far as backlinks. I just can't figure it out?

My guess would be that those sites appear on pages that are well liked by msn.
But this is just my guess without seeing the actual results.
But then again a lot makes no sense such as turf-for-surf.com appearing twice, on page 1 and 2 for " Ohio Real Estate "

Hey Mike -
I am still not getting notification when people respond to my posts? Is it just me complaining about this?

Keep an eye on the number of results that MSN returns for each of you KW searches. Right now, the MSN database is still relatively small when compared to Inktomi and Google. Some of the changes you are seeing are due to the addition of news sites to the MSN database.

Thanks Golf Guy......That makes a lot of sense. I will watch this. I just couldn't quite figure this one out. The sites that are beating me really shouldn't be there. They are good sites but just don't have any seo in them. Not that being #4 is a bad thing, but I always show up to win!

Haven't noticed any changes in my results. Funny thing though, I have a one page AOL webpage that I created on a whim just to see if it backlinks from it would ever be counted. Well since MSN launched it's beta search and up through through today, that one page site has been ranked on MSN's first page.
