Sure will San Diego, always have my eye on my rankings
Linkbuilding is going ok. Slowed down a little bit, for various reasons it seems like I'm rejecting many more link exchange requests than ever. As I get more experience and knowledge about SEO and linking I'm getting alot more picky which really cuts down on the number of sites I link with but I suppose it's just becoming a matter of quality over quantity which IMO is never a bad thing.REALTOR[b]

Have you tried the Co-Op Ad Network for adding links? The program still needs to be refined a bit to allow for categorized link partners, but it's a neat idea to gain links.
Will it help your rankings? I'm not convinced that it has a huge impact, but it doesn't hurt.

I use the co-op ad network for a few of my sites and it works fine. There are a lot of "chicken littles" out there that are predicting gloom, doom, and banishment for co-op members (I was one in the beginning until I studied what was going on and the plans for the future). That won't happen. The co-op is simply another form of on-page advertising. I use both the co-op and Adsense on the same pages.
I do suggest that you rename the files to something else, just so snoopers can't figure out what is going on with your site. Also, if your running on Windows IIS, it's a pain to set up (I have managed to get it running on a few IIS sites).
Will it rocket a site to the top of the SERP's? No. If the site is poorly optimized and has a poor linking strategy it will still rank poorly. On the flip side, I have seen my backlink count go up.
Will it help new sites? Not that much. The system is predicated on the fact that a site must be indexed by Google. Then, for each increase in your PR you receive an added weight bonus that displays your ads more frequently.
I believe that using the co-op is one of the many, many factors that helps my sites link well.
I would appreciate it if you used the link that I posted earlier if you do choose to sign up. I get a referral for bringing in any new members.

For some reason msn is switching the urls this forum is indexed with
http://www.national-real-estate-dire...rum/index.php?
this is now the url indexed. No clue where they have it from - I have also heard many inconsistancies when it comes to 301 redirects and which urls appear in the SERPs, the redirects and the urls that are being redirected to.
