Problems with MSN messenger?

I'm trying to re-install messenger. Mine is crap! It doesn't work at all! It doesn't even come up on the screen! So I tried uninstalling it and then reinstalling, but it always says that I still have it. I DON'T. Everything is gone that has to do with messenger. HELP PLEASE?!

Try to uninstall the msn messenger application then restart your PC. Then after restarting, reinstall the msn messenger and see if it will work.

Have you tried deleting the registry after uninstall? Maybe there are some registry files left there, making the program unable to install properly

The best way to uninstall software from your computer is trough a program called perfect uninstaller, it really deletes everything related to whatever you want to take away from your PC.

First uninstall your MSN & then restart your PC & again try installing MSN.

Based on your situation, I think it's best if you have just created a new account. However, if you still want your contacts, etc., then import them from the hot-mail new account. Hope this helps. And good luck.
