Step 1
First, open the eHow article that you want to submit to the Microsoft Bing Search engine.
Step 2
Now you need to copy your article's URL. The URL, or Uniform Resource Locator, is the internet "address" of a web page, blog, or possibly, an eHow article. Every page you can navigate to on the internet has one. The URL of this article, for instance, is:
URL's can be long and complicated, meaning you don't want to type the whole thing, so instead, you copy and paste it. Click your mouse in the website address bar at the top of the browser so that the URL link to your article is highlighted. If the entire URL doesn't highlight when you click in the address bar, hold down your right mouse button and drag across the article's URL until it is highlighted. Copy this address link to your computer's clipboard by either using Ctrl+c, or right-clicking on the highlighted address and then selecting COPY from the menu that appears.
Step 3
Next, open another browser window or tab, and go to bing . com / submit A direct link to this page is included in the Resources section below. You will be at the Bing URL Submission page.
Step 4
Paste Your URL Into The BoxIn the box provided, paste the link to your article, by using Ctrl+v or right-clicking in the box and clicking on PASTE. You will then have to enter the sequence of characters shown on the page into the verification box. Bing requires this to ensure that it is an actual human that is inputting the web page URL's instead of a bot or computer.
Step 5
When all your information is entered, click on "Submit URL", and you're finished!
This works for any website URL that you want to submit so that it can be found better in Bing Search.
