    Default Advice sought

    Any replies are valued.
    This is my quandary.

    If you sell real estate then you can say so on your website. Sometimes the people running the MLS have their own interpretation of the rules which is not necessarily the right one.

    Ask them for the documentation that justifies their claim. Do you have a copy of the MLS rules? If they follow the NAR MLS guidelines call NAR for a clarification.

    If they don't follow NAR rules then they hold all the cards.

    A simple solution might be to ad the word "sales" to your title. Then it will describe what you do. I think what they are looking at is the title makes it look like you have your own real estate company which you don't. You have an appraisal company and work for a real estate company.
