Beware Norada Real Estate
Hi,
I made the mistake, along with a couple other friends, of investing in some Florida property through Marco Santorelli of Norada real estate.It was a 50/50 partnership and at the beginning of the year he has told me he cant afford to honor the contract. I cannot make the payments on the construction loan myself which was to be turned into a normal home loan. I also found out he does not have a real estate license in CA. or Florida. He is also trying to sell the same deals he screwed me on at Donald Trumps real estate expo. What can I do to protect myself without filing backruptcy ? The mortgage company wants to file a deficiency judgement against me, I have had excellant credit all my life and want to keep it that way. I have just found out Marco filed for bankruptcy yesterday.
thank youLast edited by sherm; 09-19-2007 at 11:07 AM. Reason: make corrections

Most persons here aren't attorneys and are unable to provide legal guidance.
You should contact an attorney for guidance.
To get in touch with one, you can try contacting a competent real estate agent in your area, and ask him for a good real estate attorney for your situation. (Otherwise, he may refer you to a closing attorney - big difference.
)
Good luck.

Sorry to hear your story. Unfortunately you are not alone.
What area is the property?
Property type?
Community?
Builder?

Interestingly, i was doing a google search to look up their phone number and came across this post.
Although i want to stay anonomys, i will say i live in Nevada too.
I invested with the company as well. And although my Florida investment didnt do well either because of the local real estate market, I will say that i would not blame the company. After speaking to them at great length on several occasions and consulting with my attorney on my personal options, it was clear that hundreds (likely thousands) of other non-Norada investors were negativley affected by the real estate market downturn. This was not the companies doing.

Nice try marco santorelli
Nice try, I know you well enough to know you posted this, I know you are still promoting your investments. I am not bitter and really could careless about losing several thousands of dollars since my other business has made up for it many times over. The purpose of these posts is to let others know about your scams so they think twice about investing with you. I know of 18 people in nevada that invested with you and they are all extremely distraught because of you screwing them and then claiming bankruptcy. You think I should be a adult and except responsability for my investments ? I AM NOT THE ONE THAT FILED FOR BANKRUPCY TO GET OUT OF MY DEPT TO OTHERS !!!!! Also if any of you hear of a company called "360 Enterprise", run away since marco is involved with that company also.
