    Default quesion about title or deed

    excuse for not knowing too much about real estate issues. my mother has land in florida and doesn't have the title or deed. How can she get it? She called the town offices where the land is and they gave her numbers of the developer company that had it which is out of business....what can she do?

    Deeds for every parcel should be filed at the county courthouse and is available for public review.
