    Default CA Listing law?

Hi, my home was recently taken off the market, we decided to hold onto it due to the current conditions.

A perfidious real estate agent, without our consent, has listed our home on a public website (Craigslist), with a picture of our home, a description, and our address. This is a complete invasion of privacy. Does anyone know what recourse I can take with the CA Real Estate Dept, before I call my team of lawyers on this agency.

    thanks,

    SD MAN

Before you go to crazy on the agent, might give him a polite call or have your previous agent call him.

Most often when your home is listed the agents allow any other agency to advertise your home for sale (this often looks like they have it listed themselves).

So perhaps this agent is simply not aware your home has been taken off the market. Other wise he would probably be contacting you trying to get you to relist with them.

Not sure why he went out of his way to put it on Craigslist though.

    Otherwise blast away sir...
