Can misdemeanor conviction be reason to be denied a license??
On my license app im asked weather Ive been convicted of a misdemeanor or felony. I understand a charge that's directly related to the job could be grounds for denial but what about a possession charge? When I was in college (5 years ago) I was pulled over and the passenger had marijuana on him. None us confessed to it being ours so we were both charged with possession. I plead guilty to a lesser charge but its still considered a misdemeanor. How will this affect my license application? Any information would be appreciated.
