Default Fannie Mae Purchase tough question

Can you put a deposit down on a Fannie Mae house with the sale being contingent on the sale of my existing house? I need to sell my house in order to afford the new Fannie Mae one w/ the repairs it needs.

    This is in New Hampshire

Not likely. But, you will never know for sure unless you try it. Sometimes even the longest shots work out.

To be sure you will need to put the offer in writing and you will have to have your house for sale on the market with an agent and fairly priced.

    Good Luck!

    Default tough purchase

I was in a similar situation earlier this year in Mass. and I thought it was going to be tough but everything fell into place at the last minute. It would probably never happen again but sometimes it's just a little luck.

i Would think that an issue like this should be governed under your state laws and not under federal law. That is where I would check.
