Thumbs down Home Com Realty Investments Inc and bad tenant

I own a home in Sunrise Florida that is leased. The tenant signed the 12 month lease for $1700 per month.
He has sent me three bad checks. I sent him the notices offering the opportunity for him to make the checks good. He called and told me he would not. He also said he would not pay any more rent, he has rights and plans to homestead in my home without paying. He says he knows the system?? I have started the eviction process and lawsuit with my private attorney. The result caused my mortgage to get behind. I fear this could cause me to lose my home. Is it poddible to file a lean on the real estate he owns in NY?
Additionally, he was represented by Lema Lamey of home Com Realty Investments Inc in Sunrise Florida, She is also a family friend and mis represented him to me. I made countless requests to that agency to help me in this matter and they simply make no effort or return my calls. I would like file a formal complaint against that agency as well because they were paid and profited from the transaction that placed the tenant in my home and caused me this loss. Is there a formal platform in which to do this? I feel this agency forfeited proffessionalism and used me to help a non qualified friend who I am now stuck with. Please help. Thank You

    Default Pretty straightforward...

You have to move forward from where you are now. Firstly, the tenant cannot stay there without paying rent and not expecting consequences. He is trying to take advantage of you since you are not local to your own property.
All you have to do is file the proper eviction notices and proceed to take him to court. He is betting you do not take him to court since you don't live nearby. Once the judge hears the case, you will be awarded back rent and damages - if he doesn't pay them himself, the judge and judge only can garnish his wages. Your attorney should be explaining all of this to you.
