    Default Forms needed to transfer land from mothers trust

    I'm hoping someone can direct me to the proper forms..

    My Mother past away and had some land in Colorado.
    The land is in a trust with my brother the executor.
    He doesn't want to pay the taxes any more so I will get the land.
    The CO Clerks office says I need to send them;

    1) A new deed, signed and notarized with grantor and grantee info

    2) Statement of Authority

    Can any one direct me to the proper documents?

    I would really appreciate this...

    Default Legal Forms

    Mike,

    You need to go to the Colorado state Housing Authority (website or in person) and ask them specifically for a Statement of Authority form.

    Your brother already has the deed and needs to sign it over to you with a notary present.
