Default Non-US citizen purchasing real estate

I am a citizen of canada, and was planning to purchase real estate in south florida as a vacation home. I live in canada 6 months out of the year and am currently renting in south florida for the other 6. Are there any legal issues I should be aware of while purchasing real estate in south florida?

No, you can come and buy as many properties as you like. You might even be able to qualify for a mortgage here with 30-50% down, you would check with wells fargo or bank of america, unless you plan to pay cash.
