    Default Bylaws and Covenants

Are builders required to provide you with the "bylaws and covenants" of the neighborhood upon signing the purchase agreement for them to build your house? I had one builder tell me that when you sign the agreement to have your house built the builder is required to give you the bylaws and covenants of the neighborhood at that time. We did not get ours until about 6 or 7 months after construction began.

7 months?! That was too long. Well at least they provided you with those. Better late than never, I guess. If there are no special byrules in the neighborhood, they would just inform you.
