    Default Website Advertising

Would there be any legal issues if you advertised someone else's property on your own business website? I am not a real estate agent and am not familiar with all of the advertising laws. The website is for a development I am working with. It gets a lot of traffic and some of my buddies who have large pieces of property for sale want to advertise on a seperate page.

I am not an attorney therefore can not legally give legal advice. But I am pretty positive that if you have equitable interest in the property or have some form of ownership or a contract on it you can then advertise the properties. You must disclose that "mr.bbynum7 has equitable interest in the property." This is the only way I have advertised properties that I do not own. Hope that helped.
