I think using Graigslist...
Graigslist has better results depending upon your geographic area. Populations of some parts of the US use Graigslist more than others.

Yes, I had got success with Craiglist.com, I had posted ad on it for one of my services and I had got around 10-15 replies for that ad and got about 5-6 successful leads with that. I am glad with that.

I've gotten some pretty good traffic from posting listings and other marketing on there. The traffic per add was always a bit different depending on the day/time the add was posted so had to play around a bit to figure out what was best but just fiddle with it a little bit.

Traffic
On my site we offer a html cut/paste option for Craiglist for people that post properties. I've never heard of any of them getting flag for spam or other-wise.
Those ads generally get 300-3000 more views.
How that relates to a sale, I can't say for sure. But logic would dictate that more traffic should mean more interest.
