We haven't had any good experiences in buying leads. A lot of the lie and say they are exclusive and by the time you follow up the potential client is mad at receiving so many calls.
I agree with most of the posters that it's better to do your own marketing.
Running small ads in the paper and driving them to IVR or websites has worked very well of us.

IMHO, buying leads for a saturated market like real estate is pretty much a bad idea right now.

Don't Buy Leads....Lead Generate Yourself!
If you don't fully embrace the idea that you should and want to be responsible for generating all of your leads, you will never truly breakthrough in this industry. The most successful agents consider themselves first and foremost a lead generator and secondly a real estate agent. You want to control your flow of leads, because ultimately, that will give you the leverage that you need to take your business and quality of life to the next level. It al starts with a commitment to building a database that you consistently touch with value while reminding them that you are their real estate expert and to refer business to you. Take the money that you would have spent on leads, and invest it into your database and touch programs. Good luck!
