Lead Pricing
For the realtors out there, how much business do you currently get from purchasing leads? Also, roughly how much do you purchase your leads for? I know, this obviously varies depending on the quality of the lead, as well as the local market you're in.

No answers anyone?
And a follow-up one just to add on... what do you normally do with excess leads?

Excess Leads????????????
Used to subscribe to Just Listed. Broke even the first year, leads got worse as time went on. Was $389 for 10 leads/mo, now I think they want $500+/mo. Most were unrealistic about the market, did not have any money, or did not realize the website was trapping their info. I do not think Just Listed (Mrket Leader) was bad, just unfortunate timing. My current view on lead generation services, is they can take a resonable fee when a lead closes on something, or they are probably a scam.

Lead info
Hi,
We offer a great lead generation service that sends you 3 live leads that are pre-qualified per month for $69. There is no subscription fees or contracts, just a one time payment and you can cancel at any time.
The leads are not your typical name, phone number, and email. We send you their financial situation as well, including borrowing capacity and purchasing power. They are live so you will not receive the 3 leads all at the same time. As each lead comes in, we will send you a SMS text and email message to let you know. This way you can achieve first contact, which is a huge advantage as we all know.
Let me know if you have any questions! dennis@icanbuy.com
Otherwise, feel free to check us out, ICanBuyLeads.com
Cheers!

I will not buy leads anymore, I joined a progam where I was paying a lot for qualified leads. However as I turns out the leads where poor quality. Like another poster I ended up breaking even on the program after I converted 1 lead into a sale. However despite breaking even in money I lost the opportunity to do other marketing during the year.
Bottom line is I think you are better off spending your money elsewhere.
