Hello John and welcome to the forum.

It seems you know a little or a lot about rent 2 own programs.

I have flipped a few homes in Texas and always wanted to do a rent 2 own but I've heard all kinds of responses regarding the laws in Texas. Some people say it is illegal to do it in Texas and you can even loose your house and some people say it can be done (but they never tell you how).

What's your take on this???

Thanks everyone for the welcome! I actually have never heard of rent to own being illegal in Texas, but I'm sure if you check with local realtors, they can give you a definite answer. Definitely looking forward to learning more about rent to own homes and putting in my two cents.
