    Default Ello!

    Hiya!

I'm new to the real estate world, so-to-speak.

I'm considering going into Real Estate, and figured a forum would be a grand way of getting advice and such.

    A little about myself:

My name is Kayla, I'm 24 (just turned in January!)

I'm married to an US Air Force Pilot-trainee--He'll be a 'full-blown 'pilot' in Feb 2009!!)

I'm a proud mother to three wonderful monsters!!!
Malachi (Mal-la-kia) is a 4yr old German Shepherd (Mama's boy)
    Bella is a 4yr old Rottweiler (Daddy's Girl) &
Colt is a 2yr old German Shepherd (The Punk)

I'm currently located in Enid, OK. I will be living here till possibly spring of 2009. I don't know where I'll be going from here. I should know that in January/Feb 2009.

I am currently going to college, trying to get an Associates in Applied Science in Nursing pre-professional/pre-BSN. --- Once I have the AS, I can apply to (almost) any nursing program and get in (in theory).

I'm thinking of possibly going into Real Estate instead of nursing.

OK, I think that's one of the longest intro posts I have ever done!

    Thank you all in advance!!!

Welcome from Tampa, FL! My husband and I used to live in Edmond, OK for several years. Nice place to visit...

Anyway, nurses make great Real Estate Agents. So do teachers. I think it's that nurturing care you give people that draws them in.

Just one thing to think about though, if your husband is in the service you probably will move around a lot. Each state has their own licensing and regulations, some are reciporcating (allow you to sell in another state if you have a license from a state on their list). Get your nursing degree finished. Nurses are always needed. Then when you know where you will be stationed next; get your RE lic.

Once you have a license, keep it active that way you can always get a referral fee from your moves and also from family and friends.
