Thanks, I'm getting sucked in. This forum is too distracting...I may be an addict already.

    Welcome to the forum Tom,

I too am new to the forum. I have found it to have some great info. Yes, if you're not careful you could spend many hours in forums like this. But the pay off can be great.

I specialize in Lease Options, what's your claim to fame?

Well, I hesitated to say but since you ask.

I come from humble beginnings as a landscaper before I went to college. In college I obtained my undergraduate degree in Building Construction Management. From there I worked for small general contractors and some of the largest construction firms in the country. My rolls included project engineer, superintendent, and project manager. During that stage of my life my wife and I flipped a few homes doing very well. Now I'm back in school again and have nearly completed my law degree along with a masters in real estate law (LLM). I am just beginning my job search for the next stage of my life in the real estate industry as I've committed my entire career to it. We'll soon see what the future holds for us there yet again.

    Very impressive Tom,

I am very impressed. You certainly have the background for real estate.

My background is 18 years of Military service as an Airborne Combat Medic. I learned everything I know about Real Estate investing from my mentor (who I paid $5,000 to mentor me for a year), reading books and doing deals.

When I retire from the Army I will never work for another person or company again. It's been a great ride but it's time to call my own shots and get up when I please

    Great to meet you Tom.

Thanks, it cost me a lot more than $5,000. Sounds like whoever your mentor was gave you some good advise judging by your post in the Real Esate Investment section.

Thank you for your service to our country, my wife and I have a great deal of respect and admiration for those that work hard to protect us.

    Nice to meet you too.

Hey Tom, not a problem if you want to lurk...lots of people do that until they see a topic that they feel would be of interest to them then they login...I have done that on other formums but feel like making contributions to this group as much as possible
