Welcome to the forum. I am trying to decide this issue also. I find reading post very interesting. I work in a real estate enviroment and see first hand alot but have not commited to the studying and taking of the exam yet but considering it.

The tips I would give you is first off you need to get your lic (thats obvious) and then after that, see if you can find a real estate firm that will allow to take you on on a part time basis. Try out some open houses and some showings and see if it is something that you can do and then if yes, take the plunge...if you do, join a team, it will be better in the long run for you
