    I was considering getting my license, but am hesitant as to whether I will be able to make it.

    It's always great to see a community of realtors/agents sharing their knowledge and experience.

    Happy to have found this forum though.

    Honestly, and with all the respect, if you don't know now if you'll be able to make it, you should consider another career.
    Nothing personal, but I think you must be at 100% to make it...

    AMEN to that! Or else you had better have a lot of funds to ride along on in the meantime. Things are still moving everyday but we just have many more hurdles to overcome than ever before. It's not just good enough to have a hot price on a listing or a ready and willing buyer. It takes more!

    Seeing that you are in California also adds to the uncertainty because your state must have the highest ratio of agents to clients anywhere!!

    And I heard something of slow down in that market?
