Welcome to the forums.
Back in the mid 90's I lived in Yarmouth and worked in Portland. It was beautiful country up there. I did get up to the Bangor / Bar Harbor area a few times as well.
The last year I was in maine was the year of the big ice storm when most of the state lost power. I lost power at my place for a week, but some of my employees were without power for 6 weeks. That was not a fun time.
The good news was that I was the GM of the Marriott, and I was able to house my employees until they had power restored.
