    Default Researching a career in real estate

    Hi, I'm Jessica from Wisconsin. I currently work as a machine operator. I am considering a career as a real estate agent. I joined this forum to hopefully learn more about the field. I welcome any information/messages.

    Hey Jessica,

    A good friend of mine, who is now my agent in OR, had the same aspirations as you. We both worked at a Call Center while going to school. What he did was simply work this job and did RE on the side until he had enough of a client base, and income from RE, to switch to it full-time. For awhile, he was literally seeing clients on his break and lunches still wearing his cheezy call-center head set.
