Welcome!
My opinion is that 99% of these stock newsletters are a waste of time.
When someone walks into your agency, do you greet them with scripted lines or say the same exact things that the agent next to you said with the previous walk-in? No.
In order to develop a relationship with the prospect you use your own voice and relate to the prospect with your own experiences. It is you knowledge and your personality that is a large part of making any sale.
Because you do not initially communicate face to face with internet prospects, items like your newsletter are key to developing the relationship. Your own knowledge and personality must come out in your writings.
I'll let everyone in on a secret: The most financially successful agents work their butt off in every aspect of the real estate business. They don't take shortcuts. They invest the time and effort to accomplish their prospecting and sales tasks. They are not lemmings, they are leaders.
WOW your prospects and WIN their business.

Like any business, you have to set your priorities and make the time to do the important things - the things that bring in the $$$ both short term and long term.
Really, how long does it take to come up with four or 5 paragraphs each month? For our clients, we actually format and send out the newsletter along with a few of their listings each month. All that they have to do is send us a few paragraphs. We usually re-write the text so that it is more ad copy than fact copy.
Real estate web marketing is a lot different than print media marketing for real estate. Most results (contact and leads) are not instantaneous. More often than not, these web surfers are looking to purchase 6 months or more down the road.
Using a newsletter as part of a drip marketing campaign is an ideal way to keep these potential buyers engaged and interested until they are actually ready to buy.

Hi Morris County. Welcome! I use a Template Zone's High Impact Email and create my own newsletter. It has a feature to send mass email out one at a time without triggering the SPAM features in a lot of email client.
