Just like to stop by and say "Hi". I stumbled upon this forum a couple of days ago and I plan on utilizing the forum. It seems like a ton of great advice on this forum.

The company I worked for went bankrupt in late August. I have been looking for a job with no luck. I have always been interested in Real Estate and a few years ago took an appraiser class and passed the state exam. I never took it any further since life & kids kept me busy.

I now have a great opportunity to jump in the Real Estate waters. I am currently studying for the Real Estate Broker exam and my plans are to take the test by middle of December.

My goal is to do this full time. But I am looking for a job just in case and I can become a Broker part time.

Question:
What is my chances of being a Broker full time? Since my wife makes decent money and we have a little savings we figure I do not need to make lots of money right away. I say around $30k a year for the first year and of course I am looking to double that or even triple that after I get my foot wet.
