New to the Forum
Hey everyone:
I decided to join this site because within the very near future, I am thinking about buying my own home for the first time. I'm 25 years old, partially disabled, but able to work up to about 20-25 hours a week not doing any major physical work. I've been thinking of moving and looking for another place to live. Research seems to show that many landlords want a lot of money in rent which doesn't include utilities at all in the rent cost. So i've come to think that maybe it would be cheaper or about the same to own a house compared to renting. So I've joined to look for advice and assistance for when it comes to buying a home and so on and so forth. I look forward to all the help I can get since I need it.

You chose the right forum to join. Welcome!
There are a lot of things to consider when buying a home aside from your budget vs. the price for which it is sold. Among these are the location and view, reports on home inspection (consider the pests and defects), its past improvements, and of course, taxes.
