It's not about me!!!!
Hi all you fine people in this forum. My name is Dan Sacapano, a retired REALTOR, and not a retired REAL-A-TOR!
I love to read, my favorite book is the Bible, love Jesus, chess, writing ad copies, develop and promote marketing ideas both on and offline. I am a full time student studying my wife of 39 years! She has not traded me in for a newer model either!!!,
. We currently reside in Waikiki, Hawaii...yes, it is beautiful out here, pristine beaches and year-round balmy weather. Greatest accomplishment?...secular-accepting Jesus as my Savior, non-secular, successful husband and father! My 2 favorite trivia questions which I still ponder on? Here they are:
1- "If a man is out in the woods alone with no woman around to hear him, is he still wrong?"
2- "What's found behind every successful man?
ANSWER- A surprised mother-in-law
Ciao! Stay Golden!

Welcome to the Real estate forum Dano!
Seems like you must have had a great career in real estate if you have been able to retire to Hawaii. What is your best advice for the rest of us?

Pass it on...
Since you asked here is what I have learned...
Most REALTORS and real estate agents do not truly appreciate the colossal power of the Net! Imagine being everywhere at once? Ubiquitous is the word. Once you come to grips with the truly all encompassing nature of the
Net, then you must harness it by studying it no longer
as a real estate person but as a viral marketer who understands, online social networking, blogging, tweeting, forums, links, hyperlinks, backlinks, etc. Never mind
all of your real estate marketing knowledge for the time
until you take on a paradigm shift by recognizing the
disparity between marketing like the traditional REALTOR,
real estate agent vs. marketing like an Internet Market
Guru. Two totally different mindsets with the same goals,
namely creating an income. The unfair advantage goes to
the Internet Marketing Guru. I remember as an active
REALTOR thinking that I would never have the time
to learn the 'ins' and 'outs' of blogging, tweeting, forums, social networks, creating my own website, and so on. But
you know what? Of the two fields, which of the two do you think you will reach the greatest number of prospects in
the shortest amount of time, with the least amount of
physical effort?
I could go on about this subject and probably fill the page
and then some. My point is simply put...you must think
like your farm is the world and then learn what it will take
to attain top-of-mind awareness the next time a prospect
says, I need a REALTOR, who do I know? Learn the Net
like your life depends on it! It will pay off in dividends
on the order of the Richter Scale.Dan Sacapano www.IncomeResourceProvider.com
